CURRENT EVENT-El Niño
The national weather service has stated that the water along San Diego has gotten warmer. By 7 degrees. El Nino allowed Hurricane Norbert to reach Baja California but the chances of there being an El Nino winter are dwindling and it will cause this to be third consecutive year of drought in Southern California. El Niño disturbs patterns such as upwelling as well.
